Paris Louise Alcaraz (born 11 April 1983) is a Schalafanian pop and R&B singer–songwriter. Alcaraz rose to fame during the first series of the Schalafanian television series The X Factor, which she went on to win.

Early lifeEdit

Alcaraz was born in the Subal, Costru on April 11th, 1983 to her parents John and Miranda. Alcaraz attended Subal High School and was an A grade student.


The X FactorEdit

Alcaraz auditioned in Subal to take part in The X Factor for it's first season she was place in the Girls group under Shine's mentoring she and title rival Atlanta Cooper went on to be the final two. Alcaraz won when she achieved 81.08% of the final vote after her much acclaimed perfomance of L-O-V-E.

My StoryEdit

Exactly 6 months after her X Factor victory, Alcaraz's debut album My Story was released according to tabloids the album was under pressure from Alcaraz herself to be released as quickly as possible. The album was considered a flop achieving under 500,000 sales and peaking at 7 in the Albums chart. Alcaraz subsequently fell from the limelight.

Dancing with the StarsEdit

In December 2009, it was announced that Alcaraz would take part in the Spring series of Dancing with the Stars she was partnered with Thomas Brennan. She competed against former X Factor host Leo Troedel and former rival Atlanta Cooper. Alcaraz and Brennan were the seventh couple eliminated in Week 7.

Return to The X Factor and From Paris...With LoveEdit

Alcaraz was reinstated to The X Factor during the second live show of the sixth series of 2010 as a judge. Originally, Alcaraz was to remain impartial for the duration of the series however for Week 3 she was allowed to bring back two contestants eliminated at judges houses - she picked Lora Roberts and Lyle Gonzalez.

CCML Records announced that Alcaraz would release a second studio album entitled From Paris...With Love. The first single from the album is a cover of Nat King Cole's "L-O-V-E" it's peaked at number 5 on the official chart. Paris was replaced on the judge's panel in 2012 by H.

Car accidentEdit

 On 20th May 2013, Alcaraz was placed in Intensive Care at The Grand Royal Hospital in Munamanda following a car accident.
