Wu Tang United 0–0 Brillo City(12 October 2012)
The 2012–13 Premier League is the 16th season of the Premier League. The season commenced on 11th August 2012 and will conclude on 5th May 2013.
A total of 20 teams will contest the league, including 17 sides from the 2011–12 season and three promoted from Division One.
Relegation for Rookes, who finished bottom after a disastrous campaign, to Division One was confirmed in April following a 1–0 defeat at home to champions, San Cristobal. Libertad Athletic, who had been promoted the previous year, were relegated in 19th place after just their third campaign in the top flight. Rookes' Uttingham rivals, Gaols were the third team to be relegated after a four year stay in the top division.
They were replaced by Coretta Islands, who finished as champions of Division One. Runners-up were East Aislam based, Willick Albion who were back in the top flight on the second attempt like Islands, who Willick have a coincidental habit of being promoted and relegated with. The third team to earn promotion to the Premier League were Brillo and Stilwater's rivals, Laxton who beat fellow promoted team Willick's rivals, Buscar Athletic in the play-off final. The match ended 2–1 in favour of the Tangerines.
